I guess I am overdue to write something on this blog. What is the point of having a blog if I don’t write something every now and then, right?
First off, I want to say thank you to all the people who are praying for us bull riders. Your prayers do make a difference. Second, I want to praise God for His faithfulness to His people. God never lets us down. Sure there are times when it feels like He is far away or has forgotten us, but He never leaves us. Our faith is not about feelings; it is about the truth. One thing that is on my mind a lot lately is that we “walk by faith and not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Read through that chapter in 2 Corinthians. It will encourage you to keep going in the Lord.
As a follower of Christ, I often find myself discouraged by the mess the world is in. I get overwhelmed with all the pain, suffering, and wickedness I see and hear about. I start thinking that I can’t make a difference. That we are beyond hope. But I keep praying. I keep reading my Bible, I keep spending time with other followers of Christ and something changes…my perspective. God hasn’t lost hope for humanity. He knows that all is not lost. According to 2 Corinthians chapter 5, it is a common thing to have a longing to be in the eternal presence of God Almighty. You would be weird if you lived here on earth and didn’t have that desperate longing to be with the Lord in heaven. What you must realize is that that longing is not bad. Don’t let that desperate longing turn into despair. Let it fuel your faith and passion to live everyday knowing that you are one day closer to eternity in God’s presence. Keep sharing your faith and love with those who need to know that we will be headed home soon.
God bless you and thanks for reading my rantings.
Sincerely, Wiley

Thanks so much for sharing yourself in Christ’s love. I will always remember my Mom telling me that there is a hole in our hearts in the shape of Christ and that He is the ONLY thing we can fill it up with. We will try and try because we are imperfect and we live in a very imperfect world. We will only be truly satisfied and happy once we finally learn to fill that void with Him. I was young to lose my parents and can tell you that it really makes a difference in people’s lives to know that there are folks like you who are willing to share their testimony so unselfishly. It helps all of us get from one day to the next because we know we aren’t alone in our eternal destiny and our beliefs. Your message is sincere, honest, and selfless, and His choice to guide His message through you is a blessing to many. You will have many jewels in your eternal crown. I believe that we were each chosen to a specific task in His plan, so as challenging as the world today seems….we have to press on. The only way we can lose is if we give up and quit listening to His messengers. We need to keep sharing and listening – He will never leave us, and we will always be free to choose the right. So thanks again for all your hard work and dedication to help others – thanks for being His messenger.
Congratulations on your win in Tampa. Keep makin’ those funny faces (and fixing your hair for the camera), and enjoy all that He has in store for you.

Thanks Wiley, I think I was needing to hear that. Even when we know things it is always good to hear it again from another source.
Congratulations on your win! I was so happy for you. Hope there is more to come ahead.
God bless you and keep you safe.

I like to thank you for the stand you take for the Lord. You are on a big stage and can reach people that others like myself can’t. Wish you the best! My family and I are praying for you, we where able to go to our 1st PBR event at Winston-Salem seen what happen and hope you have a quick recovery. I told Mike Lee that we would be praying for you. (By the way he is super nice). I’m a preacher of the gospel and pastor of a church so please rememeber us in your prayers as well. God Bless.
